I have been researching and refining Mokulito over the the last 4 years. It is a seductive process due to its experimental nature, its environmental friendliness, cheap materials and its portability.

And, as once described:

“I LOVE the Mokulito prints!  They have such a furious textural energy to them, that you wouldn't easily get from a super smooth litho stone surface. Yes, you get less control, more serendipity,  and fewer prints, but the results are spectacular.” PB

This probably sums up why I have continued to experiment.

Click on this recent article in Australian Artist entitled Slow Art, and One Artist’s Journey into Mokulito Printmaking which is an overview of my experience with the process.

If you wish to learn more about the Mokulito process, I have made and produced 3 videos outlining the process which you can find under the heading Mokulito printing.
